According toJapan’sofficial survey, this place has even been ranked asJapan’sNo. 1 stargazing spot. Since 2012,Nagano’sAzumino Village has held the “Sky Paradise” special event, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beautiful winter scenery. What could be a more perfect trip than admiring the real night sky while also learning more about the universe?

This year is no exception — Azumino Village is hosting the “Sky Paradise Winter Night Tour 2017,” running from December 8, 2017, to March 31, 2018, with the themes of “stars” and “the universe,” offering a full-sensory experience of the beauty of the night sky.

At the center of the square, “CENTER COLONY” features light projections and beautiful music to create a stunning starry sky show; in addition to telescope stargazing, the park also emphasizes interactive tech experiences, with all content themed around the cosmos and starry skies.
