Houlilou Mound Site

The Houlilou Mound Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Houlilou Mound Site is located in Wanfeng Town, Juye County, dating back to the Tang to Qing dynasties.

On June 23, 2015, the Houlilou Mound Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Wanfeng Town: Located in the southern part of Juye County, Wanfeng Town administers 69 administrative villages and 75 natural villages, covering an area of 89 square kilometers with 100,000 mu of arable land. The area features the Xinwanfu River, a major channel of China's South-to-North Water Diversion Project, ensuring abundant water resources. The Liaoshang Highway runs north to south, with roads and telephone access available in every village, making transportation and communication convenient. The town has a well-developed agricultural sector and enjoys a historic reputation as “Wanfeng for Agricultural By-products.”
