The Gaocun Closure Site Tablet is situated on the east side of the Yellow River embankment, at the west end of Gaocun Village, 7.5 kilometers northwest of the county town. The tablet is 170 cm in height and 80 cm in width, with the stone-carved inscription "Gaocun Closure Site." In September 1880 (the sixth year of the Guangxu reign), the Gaocun embankment collapsed, sending floodwaters eastward. After the site was sealed in November, Xu Yunkui, Commander of Daming, and Liu Shengzao erected this tablet in commemoration. It is a key county-level protected cultural relic.
