To celebrate the Flower Expo, the Taichung City Government has planted various ornamental green manure crops across the city, such as cosmos, sunflowers, German ivy, and rapeseed flowers. These blooms will gradually flourish around mid-January, with a flowering period of about three weeks. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the flower seas!

The Flower Expo will take place from November 3, 2018 to April 24, 2019. Taking advantage of the agricultural off-season, flowers have been planted in areas such as Wufeng, Dajia, Waipu, Longjing, Wuri, Houli, Shengan, Xitun, and South District, filling the entire city with blossoms.
With a blooming period of about three weeks, make sure to catch the best time to admire the flowers.
Here are the recommended flower viewing spots:
1. Wufeng District: Around Asia University (Fengzheng Road, Fuxin Road, Dingtai Road, Wufeng Interchange, Zhongzheng Road, Fengzheng Road, Section 2 of Zhongtou West Road, Wufu West Road)
2. Dajia District: Xingfu Village (farmland along Dongming Road)
3. Waipu District: Yongfeng Village (Liufen Road), Wangyou Valley (from Wugu Road to Ciyao Embankment), around Sanhuan Road (from Sanhuan Road to San] Road), Zhongshan Village, ^ Tuo Yongru County Road), Liufen Village Waipu Road, Xincuo Road
4. Longjing District: Around Longjing Station (Lane 221, Section 1, Zhonghua Road, Lane 185, Qiaotou Road)
5. Wuri District: Lunzi Lane, Xuetian Road
6. Houli District: Around Tai’an Railway Station (Anmei Road, Zhonghua East Road, Fumei Road, Hexing Road/Three-Lane Road, Fuxing Road)
7. Shengan District: Along both sides of Tan-Ya-Shen Greenway
8. Xitun District: Guangfu Village
9. Open space at Fuxing Jiancheng Camp next to the National Public Information Library (intersection of Wucyuan South Road and Fuxing Road)
The Flower Expo will run from November 3 to April 24, 2019.
