Dongming County Martyrs' Cemetery is a patriotic education base and a national defense education base.

Dongming County Martyrs' Cemetery is situated within the state-owned Dongming Forest Farm on the east side of Donglan Highway. It is a red patriotic and national defense education base that combines education, commemoration, and sightseeing. The site spans over 70 acres with a built-up area of 710 square meters. Construction began in May 2013 and was completed in September 2014. The cemetery centrally manages 226 named martyrs' graves and commemorates 460 unnamed martyrs. Facilities include a memorial tower, memorial hall, heroes' wall, martyrs' graves, and supporting infrastructure. The Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Tower stands 21 meters tall, and the heroes' wall displays the names of 1,009 martyrs. Dongming County is a veteran revolutionary base area and served as a frontline stronghold during the War of Resistance Against Japan and the Liberation War, producing hundreds of notable martyrs such as Zhang An, Sun Ziduan, Zhang Entong, and Wang Tao. The martyrs' memorial hall, established in June 2014, primarily showcases the deeds of those who sacrificed their lives during the War of Resistance and the Liberation War, along with 62 preserved relics including diaries, letters, photographs, personal effects, and commemorative certificates or medals.
