The Xiaotianchi Primitive Forest Scenic Area, situated 27 kilometers west of Kongshan Baiyun Cave, sits at an average elevation of over 900 meters. It spans 67,000 mu of forest land and 40,000 mu of secondary forest, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 80%. The area is abundant in negatively charged ions, making it highly valuable. In the height of summer, the average temperature is just 23°C, earning it the expert title of a "natural oxygen bar." The scenic zone is divided into six main areas: Xiaotianchi, Changgou, Sanfengshan, Sitai, Jinluandian Nao, and Jiushu Nao, covering a total area of 50 square kilometers.

Due to its enclosed terrain, the ecological environment remains in its pristine state, featuring a rich variety of distinctive natural landscapes. There are over a thousand peculiar peaks, strange rocks, steep cliffs, and more than 100 streams, springs, waterfalls, and pools. Additionally, the area is home to over 700 species of advanced vegetation including flowers, trees, shrubs, and grasses, as well as around 100 species of wild animals such as birds, insects, livestock, and beasts. Among them, there are 16 appealing sights such as “Golden Turtle Carrying a Book” and “Chessboard Immortal Traces,” over 30 rare animals including roe deer, badgers, wild boars, and wild goats, and approximately 80 rare bird species such as pheasants, vultures, and owls. The area’s Yinquan Spring is rich in minerals like selenium and is renowned for its anti-cancer and longevity benefits. Since ancient times, local residents who have drunk this water have never suffered from cancer, with an average life expectancy of over 80 years.

Transportation: By car, drive east out of Shijiazhuang, take the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway southbound, and exit at “Boxiang, Lincheng.”

After exiting, drive to Lincheng County, then head in the direction of Kongshan Baiyun Cave. Pass Kongshan Baiyun Cave and Qishan Lake, then continue to Dongguandeng Village where you will see signs for Xiaotianchi. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Xingshan South Bus Station in Xingtai City to Lincheng. Buses start departing at 7:40 AM, roughly every 40 minutes, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Lincheng County Bus Station. The fare is 13 yuan. From the bus station, a taxi ride to Kongshan Baiyun Cave costs around 30 yuan, after which you can take a minibus to Xiaotianchi.
