Located west of Tonghua Village in Zhaozhuang Township, this newly discovered scenic area is known locally as Wonderful Stone Valley. It borders a provincial-level forest park to the north and lies 48 kilometers from the Kongshan White Cloud Cave. Covering 10 square kilometers, the area boasts steep peaks, uniquely shaped rocks, tranquil valleys, fresh air, deep forests, and clear waters — a true gem among the scenic wonders of the Taihang Mountains.

The valley earns its name from its remarkable stones. These stones are primarily granite, sculpted over hundreds of millions of years by wind erosion and the movement of Quaternary glaciers. Upon entering the scenic area, visitors are greeted by towering, animal-shaped peaks and oddly placed boulders that seem almost alive. There are formations resembling a dragon horse, a qilin, a divine deer, and the Weaving Maid, all remarkably lifelike. Others resemble little pigs, birds, morning glories, or turtles, equally vivid. Year-round mountain springs flow through the valley, and the Silver Snake Waterfall is a particularly breathtaking sight. Natural rock formations such as the Jade Goddess in Thought, the Monarch and His Ministers in Dialogue, and the Weaving Maid Painting showcase the wonders of nature and are truly astounding. The dense forests provide ample shade, and the air is fresh and invigorating, offering visitors a refreshing lungful of oxygen and respite from the summer heat. Wildlife roams freely between the peaks and rocks, while birds sing in the depths of the woods — a rare tranquility. Crystal-clear streams meander through the valleys and ravines, with pools and waterfalls strung together like pearls, creating unmatched beauty.

In spring, you can stroll across fragrant grasslands; in summer, enjoy the cool shade; in autumn, admire the red leaves; and in winter, marvel at the ice waterfalls. The scenery here is delightful in all four seasons.

Transportation: Visitors coming from the south can take the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, exit at "Longyao & Lincheng," cross National Highway 107, and drive 76 kilometers west, or follow National Highway 107 and turn west at "Fengcun" for 76 kilometers. Those traveling from the north can exit the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway at "Boxiang & Lincheng," cross National Highway 107, and drive 76 kilometers west, or take National Highway 107 and turn west at "Zhennèi" for 76 kilometers. Travelers on the Pingshe Line can reach Zhaozhuang Village and then continue 3 kilometers west.
