Jiangxi Soil and Water Conservation Ecological Science and Technology Park

The Jiangxi Soil and Water Conservation Ecological Science and Technology Park is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The scenic area is located in De’an County, Jiujiang City, and is built around the “Jiangxi Soil and Water Conservation Ecological Science and Technology Park.” Covering an area of 0.7 square kilometers, including 0.04 square kilometers of water bodies, it is classified as a soil and water conservation-oriented water conservancy scenic area.

The Jiangxi Soil and Water Conservation Ecological Science and Technology Park is among the first national soil and water conservation ecological science and technology demonstration parks, dedicated to scientific research experiments and public education on soil and water conservation. Through its first and second phases of planning and construction, the scenic area management has largely completed the enhancement of its overall functions, including research, promotion and demonstration, and public education. It serves as a local platform for water environment protection, aquatic ecological restoration, water culture preservation and dissemination, and popularization of soil and water conservation knowledge. The scenic area features serene winding paths and various lakes scattered throughout, offering visitors a chance to rest amidst the landscape of mountains, waters, and woods while learning about soil and water conservation. It is now a national social practice base for soil and water conservation education in primary and secondary schools.
