The former residence of Chen Baozhen and Chen Sanli is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The former residence of Chen Baozhen and Chen Sanli, also known as the Chen Family Mansion or Fengzhu Hall, is the birthplace of Chen Baozhen and Chen Sanli. The old house was built in the 58th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1793) by Chen Baozhen’s grandfather, Chen Kesheng. It features a single-entry, two-courtyard layout with a large central courtyard.

The former residence of Chen Baozhen and Chen Sanli is located in Zhucuan Village, Yining Town, Xiushui County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China. Also known as the Chen Family Mansion or Fengzhu Hall, it is the birthplace of Chen Baozhen and Chen Sanli. The Chen Family Mansion consists of an old and a new building connected together. The old house was built in the 58th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1793) by Chen Baozhen’s grandfather, Chen Kesheng. It features a single-entry, two-courtyard layout with a large central courtyard. The new house was built during the Guangxu era after Chen Baozhen passed the imperial examination at the provincial level. In front of the house stand a cluster of flagpole stones and a pair of flagstone pedestals. The flagpole stones were erected after Chen Baozhen passed the provincial examination, while the flagstone pedestals were erected when Chen Sanli passed the imperial examination at the national level.

In May 2013, the State Council (State Council Document [2013] No. 13) announced the former residence of Chen Baozhen and Chen Sanli as part of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
