The Former Sites of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Soviet Government, and Provincial Military District in Huaping are designated as a Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Former Sites of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Soviet Government, and Provincial Military District in Huaping include the former site of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Soviet Government, and Provincial Military District in Huaping, the former site of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Mutual Aid Association, and the former site of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Hospital.

The Former Sites of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Soviet Government, and Provincial Military District in Huaping are located in Pingshang Natural Village, Huaping Village, Gushi Town, Xiushui County, and consist of nearly twenty buildings, most of which are on the verge of collapse due to years of disrepair. In early May 1934, during the fifth counter-“encirclement and suppression” campaign, Chen Shouchang, Secretary of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, and Xu Yanggan, Commander of the Provincial Military District, led the provincial party, Soviet, and military organs along with the Red 16th Division, breaking through the encirclement in Xianyuan Township, Wanzai County, and making their way to the Huaping Soviet Area in Xiushui County. By the end of May, the provincial party and Soviet organs once again broke through and relocated to the Longmen Mountain area at the border of Xiushui, Tonggu, Yichun, and Fengxin. During this breakout, Gao Yongsheng, commander of the Red 16th Division, heroically sacrificed his life in Banjing Village, Quanfeng Town, near Huaping. In July 1959, the Xiushui County People's Committee installed a plaque at Ping’s House to protect and commemorate the site.
