Former Site of the First CPC Xiushui County Congress

The Former Site of the First CPC Xiushui County Congress is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism destination.

The Former Site of the First CPC Xiushui County Congress is located in Huangnitang, Zhuxi Village, Daqiao Town, Xiushui County.

In September 1930, the CPC Xiushui County Committee held its first party congress here, with responsible persons from the party organizations of surrounding counties also attending as observers. The meeting reviewed the work carried out since the Red May Uprising, planned the county’s third armed general uprising, and elected Fan Cean as the County Party Secretary.

In 1959 and 1994, the CPC Xiushui County Committee and the People's Government of Xiushui County respectively erected memorial plaques at the site.
