Lion Peak of Jinyun Mountain

Lion Peak is located about 50 meters east of the Three-Tiered Turtle Peak. It is surrounded by cliffs on three sides and a steep slope on one, resembling a majestic lion, hence its name. From the front, the lion appears to gaze intently, exuding a powerful presence; when viewed from the side or rear, it looks like a fierce lion lying on the ground and roaring back over its shoulder, thus also earning the nickname "The Lion Looking Back." Its head seems to turn along with visitors, and its wide-open mouth reveals even its sharp teeth in clear detail. The southwestern side of the peak features towering cliffs, rugged rocks, and uniquely shaped peaks scattered in all directions, combining danger with beauty; the northeastern side is relatively gentle, covered in lush trees, but still features significant elevation drops that create an awe-inspiring atmosphere.
