Turtle Peak Immortal Bridge
The Immortal Bridge is located to the south of Lingzhi Peak and is formed by the accumulation of several massive stones. The bridge spans dozens of meters in length and stands several meters high. From a distance, it appears to have two arches, but up close, there is only one—resembling the Arc de Triomphe in France or an ancient Chinese stone arch bridge. Legend has it that this bridge was brought by the deity Erlang Shen during the battle between the Eastern and Western Dragon Kings to help celestial troops cross safely, hence its name “Immortal Bridge.” The Immortal Bridge stands proudly in the southwest of the Three-Tiered Turtle Peak, basking in the spiritual beauty of Turtle Mountain. It seems as if it points the way to the heavens, appearing uniquely marvelous and shrouded in mystery—truly a celestial bridge lost in the human world.
