The Longmen Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.
The Yiyang Longmen Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area built around the Longmen Lake Reservoir, integrating tourism resources such as the Nan yan Grottoes, the Natural Reclining Buddha, and Longyuan Gorge. With a total area of 4.42 square kilometers, including 1 square kilometer of water area and 3.2 square kilometers of catchment area, it serves as a tourist destination that brings together Danxia landform, Buddhist culture, sightseeing, leisure, pilgrimage, and wellness.
The scenic area enjoys a prominent location, situated at the center of the Longhu Mountain, Sanqing Mountain, Wuyi Mountain, and the cities of Jingdezhen and Wuyuan. It boasts abundant forest tourism resources, lush natural vegetation, dense green woods that remain verdant all year round, relatively low environmental humidity, and favorable conditions for the growth of ferns. The Danxia landform is distinctive, featuring uniquely shaped peaks and rolling hills, creating a magnificent landscape.
