Dieshan Town: Originally known as Zhoutan Township, Dieshan Town is the hometown of Xie Bangde, a renowned patriotic poet and statesman of the Southern Song Dynasty. In May 1993, the township government was relocated from Zhoutan to Shuanggang Village. In 1997, the township was upgraded to a town and named “Dieshan Town” in honor of the eminent historical figure Xie Dieshan, bringing favorable opportunities for rapid economic development and social progress.

Dieshan Town is located in the southern part of Yiyang County in northeastern Jiangxi, bordered by Hufang Township of Yanshan County to the east, Xiyao Township of Guixi County to the south, Gangkou Town to the west, and Xuguang Farm to the north, covering a total area of 103 square kilometers.
