Guopu Peak Natural Scenic Tourism Area

The Guopu Peak Natural Scenic Tourism Area is located in Nianyu Mountain Town, Changjiang District, in the southwestern part of Jingdezhen City. It is named after Guo Pu (a scholar from the Jin Dynasty who practiced Taoism and alchemy here). The scenic area features 12,000 acres of pristine forest and 1,000 acres of water bodies, along with cultural landscapes and Taoist cultural sites. The mountainous forest region is characterized by rolling peaks, abundant vegetation, spring-like weather year-round, birdsong and floral fragrance, fresh air, and a pleasant climate. The water areas are dotted with crystal-clear, azure waves that are transparent to the bottom. In 2001, it was officially designated as a provincial-level forest park by the Jiangxi Provincial Forestry Department. The scenic area has the potential to develop various tourism facilities and can be developed into an ideal destination for urban residents to vacation, relax, and explore.
