The Jingdezhen Ceramics Folk Museum is a garden-style museum centered around ancient architecture. The museum features exhibits of ceramics from various dynasties, a cluster of ancient kilns, a porcelain stele corridor, the Tianhou Palace, Porcelain Street, and the Dafu Mansion. With its serene environment, lush trees, and shimmering lakes, the site perfectly blends cultural heritage with natural scenery. The museum also offers the world’s only ceramic music performance.

The Ming Lane and Qing Garden within the Ceramics Folk Museum consist of 12 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Qing Garden includes four different types of Qing dynasty structures, among which the Yuhua Hall is a representative Qing-era ancestral hall with a floor entirely paved in bluestone slabs. The Qing residential courtyard features a unique architectural style, with a study hall as the main building, a small courtyard with stone railings and a pond, flanked by covered walkways. In front lies a small garden, while behind are large and small residences that complement each other. The Ming Lane has eight structures including a lane gate, shops, an ancestral hall, and residential houses. Among them, the lane gate is a rare and exquisitely crafted small architectural piece from the Ming dynasty. The simplicity and elegance of the Ming dynasty residences offer a sharp contrast to the Qing dynasty buildings. These Ming and Qing architectural complexes serve as valuable physical materials for studying the economic, architectural, and ceramic development of Jingdezhen. They provide visitors with a glimpse into the folk architecture of ancient Jingdezhen, making them highly valuable both aesthetically and as tourist attractions.
