Lengshuijian Ecological Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Lengshuijian Ecological Scenic Area is located in the southern part of Jingdezhen, China’s world-renowned porcelain capital. It lies at the junction of the eastern part of Yushan Town and the western part of Hetang Township, nestled in the picturesque Lan Mountain Range — Feifeng Ridge. Situated west of Lümeng Bridge and stretching from north to south, it spans 4,700 meters in length and 3,000 meters in width, with an elevation of 531 meters and a mountainous area of over 1,000 acres. The vegetation mainly consists of young forests and shrubs, along with many rare animals and plants. There is a winding path on the mountain that leads to secluded spots; in the past, it was bustling with traffic as it connected to Leping, Yongshan, Yushan, and Poyang. Long ago, it was an ancient post road and could be considered a major transportation route. The Immortal Spring on the mountain is said to have been created when the immortal Tieguaili struck it with his cane. This spring is believed to be spiritually potent, and with the Guanyin Hall on the mountain being a popular site of worship, visitors flock here year-round to pay homage and collect the sacred spring water.

Lengshuijian is one of the earliest cradles of Buddhism in our city, with a history of over a thousand years. Surrounded by layers of mountains, lush greenery, and clear waters, the area boasts rich vegetation. As visitors climb the thousand-step staircase, the breathtaking beauty of nature unfolds before their eyes. When you ascend to the Mid-Air Temple and look down, you’ll feel as if you’re standing atop Mount Tai, experiencing a sense of serene transcendence. From the Mid-Air Temple, one can often witness ethereal clouds and mist forming mirage-like, heavenly cloudscapes reminiscent of a fairyland.

Nowadays, the scenic area has built numerous cultural attractions on the foundation of its natural landscape, as well as ecological mountain sites. It combines pilgrimage, tourism, and leisure, making it an ideal destination for both travelers and worshippers to visit and relax.
