The Tomb of Zhou Xu is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Tomb of Zhou Xu is located in Jishui County. In March 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

　Zhou Xu (1473–1557), courtesy name Zihou, was originally from Xi County, Henan. His grandfather served as the commander of Jiuxi Guard during the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty and settled in what is now Linli. From a young age, Zhou Xu was well-read and knowledgeable in rites, skilled in poetry and prose. He was tall and strong, with exceptional archery and horsemanship abilities. In 1489, he passed the imperial examination at the county level; in 1511, he earned the jinshi degree and was appointed as Right Evaluator and later Right Assistant Director of the Grand Court of Revision (Dali Temple), overseeing state laws, adjudicating various cases, and authoring the Qinxu Lu based on practical experience. He advocated for fiscal restraint and care for the people, opposing punishment without prior instruction.
