Ji’an China Jinshi Culture Park is located on Nanyumen Island in the southern part of Jiushui County, covering an area of over 460 acres. It is a classical garden themed around Jinshi culture. The spatial layout of the park centers around the Jinshi Museum and incorporates elements such as a library tower, government offices, a Confucian temple, the Jinshi Gate, the Jinshi Pavilion, Jinshi mansions, a theater, an ancient arena, the Jinshi Flagpole Square, pavilions, corridors, terraces, ancient bridges, and ancient docks. These are organized into one belt, two woods, nine gardens, and eighteen scenic spots. The completed Jinshi Culture Park boasts the grandeur of an imperial garden, with majestic corridors and towers rising proudly, as well as the delicate elegance of a Jiangnan-style garden — poetic, picturesque, with winding paths leading to secluded charm, as if naturally formed and exquisitely crafted.

The one belt refers to the Jinshi family visitation and parade route on the western side of the park.

The two woods refer to the camphor forest and the bamboo forest. The nine gardens include the Pine Garden, Bamboo Garden, Plum Garden, Osmanthus Garden, and six others.

The eighteen scenic spots consist of Eighteen views, namely the Grand Sight of Success in Examinations, Ancient Stage Singing, Luling Impressions, Lotus in the Sun, Ancient Ferry of Wenfeng, Sunset over the Fishing Village, and sixteen more.

Among these, the Jinshi Museum is built to the standards of a first-class domestic museum. It aims to create a specialized museum based on the principles of “China’s stature, global influence; a national perspective, Jiangxi characteristics; accessible to all, educational and entertaining.” The content displays emphasize a combination of academic rigor, accuracy, and comprehensiveness, striving to become one of the nation’s most culturally rich and comprehensive museums dedicated to the imperial examination system and Jinshi scholars. The cultural displays throughout the park have gathered over 1,100 sets of cultural relics, including ancient books and documents, portraits of imperial examination figures, calligraphy and paintings by Jinshi and top examinees, as well as related plaques and inscriptions.
