The Former Residence of Comrade Mao Zedong in Wan'an County is located at Luohansi (formerly Qiujiashaxia), in the county town. On January 5, 1928, after leading the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army to capture Suichuan County, Mao Zedong stayed here. The former residence now displays the living utensils he used at that time. It is a county-level key cultural relics protection unit.
