On May 18 (Thursday) from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, the Wan’an No. 40 exercise will be held in northern Taiwan (covering Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and Hsinchu County). Travelers who are out and about or on holiday must pay special attention to adjusting their movements in line with the exercise regulations during this time period. Please plan ahead and make adjustments to avoid disrupting your scheduled itinerary. Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation has also made the following adjustments in coordination with the Wan’an exercise: shuttle buses, express buses, and dispatched taxis serving the high-speed rail stations at Nangang, Taipei, Banqiao, Taoyuan, and Hsinchu will be temporarily suspended during the exercise period due to traffic control.

Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation stated that all train services will operate as usual during the exercise period, and station ticketing and passenger access through gates will remain normal. Passengers traveling to or from Nangang, Taipei, Banqiao, Taoyuan, and Hsinchu stations are advised to arrive at the stations earlier to avoid delays. Passengers arriving at or departing from these stations between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM on May 18 (Thursday) during the exercise period are requested to follow the guidance of military police and station staff and wait at the station temporarily.
