Xiaojing Scenic Area

Xiaojing is located northeast of Dajing. The former "Hongguang" Hospital had outpatient rooms, operating rooms, hospital beds, and a total of thirty-two rooms, accommodating over 200 wounded and sick soldiers. In late January 1929, when Jinggangshan was temporarily lost to the enemy, the reactionary forces set fire to the hospital. More than 100 seriously wounded soldiers who couldn't be evacuated all sacrificed their lives heroically. After liberation, the government rebuilt the hospital to its original appearance.

Introduction:

This is the site of the first hospital of the Chinese Red Army — the "Hongguang" Hospital. It has been listed as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit and is open to the public.

Jinggangshan Nature Reserve: Established in 1981, the Jinggangshan Nature Reserve was approved as a national nature reserve in April 2000, covering a total area of 15,873 hectares. It is a forest ecological nature reserve, primarily protecting the mixed mountain forest ecosystem and rare wildlife resources. The area features enclosed terrain with complex landforms, including over 50 peaks above 1,000 meters in elevation.
