- Jingzhu Mountain is located to the southwest of Jinggangshan, 12 kilometers from Ciping. It got its name from a huge rock that was struck by lightning, rolled down the mountain.

- During the Autumn Harvest Uprising, Mao Zedong led his troops into this area, leaving behind many revolutionary sites, including the former site of the Shuangmashi Red Army Outpost Fortifications, and the revolutionary sites of Jingzhu Mountain and Leidashi.

- The scenic area is located in the mid-subtropical zone, with a mild and pleasant climate, high forest coverage, unpolluted air, and environmental protection reaching national first-class standards. It is known as a natural oxygen bar and is an ideal destination for recuperation and leisure.

The site where Mao Zedong announced the Three Main Rules of Discipline — Leidashi, is located on Jingzhu Mountain, southwest of Ciping, Jiangxi. This place got its name from a huge rock that was struck by lightning and rolled down the mountain.

On October 23, 1927, Comrade Mao Zedong led the troops of the Autumn Harvest Uprising to Jingzhu Mountain, adjacent to Jinggangshan and Ling County. On the morning of the 24th, Mao Zedong climbed onto this large rock by the roadside to brief the troops on the basic situation of Wang Zuo and Jinggangshan, emphasizing that the troops must maintain good relations with the local people. He first put forward the Three Rules of Discipline for the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army: First, obey orders in action; second, do not take a single sweet potato from the common people; third, confiscate the property of local tyrants for the public. Subsequently, the troops passed through Shuangmashi and entered Dajing Village.

In September 1988, the People's Government of Jinggangshan City designated "Jingzhu Mountain Leidashi" as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit.

As someone who grew up in Jinggangshan, when people mention Jingzhu Mountain, images of deep mountain wildlife and Leidashi immediately come to mind. Although I’ve never been to Jingzhu Mountain, I feel very close to it, largely due to childhood memories. I still clearly remember how villagers from Jingzhu Mountain excitedly carried a large monkey to the headquarters of the Dajing Forest Farm, claiming they had captured it at home, attracting us kids to gather around in excitement... That scene remains vivid in my memory even now. As for stories of someone capturing a wild ox or boar, those were things we often heard about. Mysterious and distant — that was my childhood impression of Jingzhu Mountain.

As I grew older, I learned more about Jingzhu Mountain: from the trucks loaded with timber and bamboo, I knew it was deep in the mountains; from people going into the mountains to pick wild tea, gather mushrooms, and catch stone frogs, I knew it produced good things; and from locals proudly telling outsiders that Leidashi on Jingzhu Mountain was where Mao Zedong announced the Three Main Rules of Discipline, I knew it was truly no ordinary place.

Later on, as tourism in Jinggangshan flourished and places like Huangyangjie and Longtan became crowded, Jingzhu Mountain seemed to be forgotten by many. Only in the historical exhibits at the Revolution Museum was Jingzhu Mountain’s Leidashi mentioned as the birthplace of military discipline, one of the cornerstones of the people’s army. Only below Wuzhi Peak and by Jinggang Lake did tour guides tell visitors that the reservoir’s source was Jingzhu Mountain, and that the lake was the lifeblood of the people of Jinggangshan. At such times, Jingzhu Mountain felt like a hidden pearl in the deep mountains, yet to reveal its full brilliance. But as people began to lose interest in the hustle and bustle of flashy scenes, more and more started quietly heading to Jingzhu Mountain to enjoy rustic flavors and wild cuisine, seeking simplicity and a return to nature. And so, Jingzhu Mountain gradually unveiled its mysterious and serene veil.

On September 28, 2004, the villagers of Jingzhu Mountain welcomed a joyous occasion: the official groundbreaking of the Leidashi and Jingzhu Mountain Teaching Site Scenic Area under the Jinggangshan Cadre College. By leveraging Jingzhu Mountain’s green resources and red heritage, a brand-new yet age-old Jingzhu Mountain is being created.

The "Jingzhu Scenic Area" is a green ecological tourism and leisure destination meticulously planned and invested in by Jinggangshan Jingzhu Scenic Area Development Co., Ltd. It integrates dining, accommodation, transportation, tourism, shopping, and entertainment.

3. Leidashi Military Discipline Origins Teaching Area: (Entrance, Beacon Square, Valley Scenic Garden, Leidashi Square Teaching Point, Hongchang Reception Area, etc.).

Here you can enjoy the infinite beauty of nature: majestic mountains, boundless vistas, crystal-clear springs, emerging clouds, and soaring waterfalls. There is also the “natural oxygen bar” that will make you linger. The drinking water source of Jinggang Lake flows through the entire scenic area, with multiple drops forming waterfalls. Huge rocks stand in the deep valleys, and water flowing between them is a spectacular sight. When floods surge, streams rush down, and thunder roars day and night, you feel as if you’ve entered the heavens themselves — making it an excellent spot for recuperation and leisure. The total area of the scenic zone spans 12 square kilometers.
