Jinggangshan Azalea Mountain (Bijia Mountain) Scenic Area

-- The Azalea Mountain Scenic Area is located south of Ciping. Thirteen peaks stretch continuously, and from a distance, the mountain range resembles a penholder, hence it is also called "Bijia Mountain."

-- This is a distinctive scenic spot within the Jinggangshan Scenic Area. The most famous attraction is the "Ten-Mile Azalea Forest." From April to May, walking along the "Ten-Mile Azalea Corridor" trails feels like strolling through an ocean of azaleas.

-- The cable car at Azalea Mountain offers great value for money, with a one-way ride taking about 25 minutes. In addition, there are five viewing platforms along the elevated walkways, offering views of the back side of Wuzhi Peak and the canyon scenery.

-- There is a direct Azalea Mountain shuttle bus from Ciping Central Station, with a journey time of about half an hour. Please note that the Azalea Mountain ticket is included in the Jinggangshan Scenic Area ticket, but there are no walking paths up the mountain—visitors must take the scenic area cable car round trip.

Tickets

Tickets are included in the Jinggangshan Scenic Area ticket; cable car fees are 160 RMB/person in peak season, 150 RMB/person in off-peak season. Children between 1.2 m and 1.4 m receive a half-price ticket, and children under 1.2 m are free.
