Huishi Bridge

Huishi Bridge is a classic destination in red tourism.

Huishi Bridge is located on the Longjiang River, directly in front of the Red Army Reunion Monument on Jinggang Mountain. In 1964, the people of Longshi rebuilt the original wooden bridge into the current reinforced concrete bridge. Guo Moruo visited Huishi Bridge and personally inscribed the name "Huishi Bridge," as well as composed a poem titled "The Red Army Reunion Bridge."

-- Huishi Bridge is also known as Dawei Reunion Bridge. It is located in Jinggangshan City, Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, on the Longjiang River directly in front of the Jinggangshan Reunion Monument. Built during the Republican era, the bridge has a total length of 13.80 meters, a width of 2.80 meters, and features a cantilevered structure.

-- On June 12, 1935, the 74th Regiment of the 25th Division of the 9th Army of the Red Fourth Front Army and the 4th Regiment of the 2nd Division of the First Red Army Corps successfully reunited on Dawei Bridge.

-- On June 25, 2006, Dawei Reunion Bridge, as part of the Long March relics in Aba, was designated as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level by the State Council.

-- Guo Moruo personally inscribed the name "Huishi Bridge" and composed a poem titled "The Red Army Reunion Bridge."

Longshi Town: The county seat. In 1950, it consisted of Longshi Town and Zhuangqian Township; in 1958, they merged to form Longshi Commune; in 1984, Longshi Town was re-established. Located in the western part of the county, it covers an area of 33.3 square kilometers, with a population of 17,000, predominantly Han Chinese, along with four ethnic minorities: Manchu, Hui, and Miao. The town government is based in Longshi. National Highway 319 and the Ningyan Highway intersect in the town. It administers the Longshi Neighborhood Committee and four village committees: Longshi, Zhuangqian, Xianggongmiao, and Shipi. The Longjiang River flows from southeast to northeast through the town. The main agricultural products are rice and vegetables.
