Jinggang Lake

Jinggang Lake is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Jinggang Lake is the reservoir area of the Jinggangchong Hydropower Station, which began construction in 1989. The double-curvature arch dam is 300 meters long and 100 meters high, with a catchment area of 48.1 square kilometers and a total water storage capacity of over 20 million cubic meters. The deepest point of the lake reaches over 80 meters. It is an artificial lake that integrates water supply, power generation, and tourism.

Jinggang Lake also has a cruise boat dock, where visitors can take a boat to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery of Jinggang Mountain.

The area around the lake is covered with dense forests, providing ample shade. The lake surface shimmers with ripples, dotted with small boats. Visitors can take sightseeing boats to explore the valleys, streams, waterfalls, and unique rocks, as well as enjoy the rich variety of flora and fauna.

-- In addition, the area enjoys cool summers and mild winters, making it a great destination for summer retreats and leisure.
