Former Site of the Huang'ao Red Army Supply Transfer Station

The former site of the Huang'ao Red Army Supply Transfer Station is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the Red Army supply transfer station is located on the banks of the Huang'ao River, south of Ciping. This building was originally constructed by Western missionaries to attract followers and was named "Catholic Church."

In the spring of 1928, after the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army captured Suichuan County, a supply transfer station was established here to ensure the army's provisions. Wang Zuo was responsible for organizing a transport team to store large quantities of grain, cloth, and ammunition and other supplies transported from Suichuan County in this building. Then, Wang Zuo’s troops transferred these supplies to the Huaide Ancestral Hall in Ciping for storage.

The supply transfer station set up by the Red Army not only resolved part of the army’s provisions at that time but also effectively countered the enemy’s economic blockade against Jinggangshan.

In September 1988, the People's Government of Jinggangshan City designated the "Former Site of the Huang'ao Red Army Supply Transfer Station" as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.
