The Tomb of Martyr Yuan Wencai is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Tomb of Martyr Yuan Wencai is located in Jinggangshan City. In March 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

Yuan Wencai, also known as Xuan San, was born in October 1898 in Mayuan Pit, Maoping, Ninggang County, Jiangxi Province. In 1924, dissatisfied with the oppression of local landlords and gentry, he joined the bandit group "Machete Squad." In September 1926, he accepted the leadership of the Communist Party, led his forces in Ninggang, and established the People's Committee of Ninggang County, serving as the commander-in-chief of the Ninggang County Peasant Self-Defense Army. By the end of November of the same year, the Ninggang Branch of the Communist Party of China was established, and Yuan Wencai was recruited as a member.
