Introduction:

The Hui Women Reservoir Water Conservancy Scenic Area is situated in Majia Town, Luojiang District, Quanzhou City. It lies 20 kilometers from downtown Quanzhou and 29 kilometers from Hui’an County, ensuring easy access. The region enjoys a subtropical maritime monsoon climate, boasts a favorable ecological environment, and has an average annual temperature of 20.7°C, abundant rainfall, and lush greenery all year round. Centered around the cultural education base of the “Hui Women Spirit,” the reservoir offers unique dam scenery and outstanding engineering and cultural landscapes. Its water conservancy resources are vast in scale and feature a well-rounded array of scenic elements.

Within the Hui Women Reservoir Scenic Area, the cultural education base themed on the “Hui Women Spirit” features extensive infrastructure along with grand natural, cultural, and historical landscapes. Key attractions include the main dam, the reservoir area, the Hui Women Reservoir Memorial Hall, memorial pavilions on both sides of the dam, the Hui Women stone sculpture, the irrigation area map, and the Hui Women Praise Stele.
