Liugong Weir is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Year: Southern Song Dynasty

Location: Bannan Village, Shuangyang Subdistrict, Luojiang District, Quanzhou City, and Chenba Village, Luoyang Town, Hui'an County

Introduction: Originally named Fenggu Weir, commonly known as Chen San Dam. It was first built in the 30th year of the Shaoxing era (1160) of the Southern Song Dynasty, advocated by You Shi Liu Yuangang. Initially, it was only 60 paces in length, 130 feet in width, and one-fifth as deep as its width, capable of irrigating over 3,600 mu of farmland, making it the earliest reservoir dam in Quanzhou. In the 12th year of the Jiajing era (1533) of the Ming Dynasty, Quanzhou Prefect Tu Zhuo built a 36-zhang-long embankment on the left side of the weir, 9.5 zhang deep. It has been repaired in subsequent dynasties. Associated relics include the Ming Dynasty Tu Gong Stele located south of the weir, which is 2.45 meters high, 0.86 meters wide, and 0.15 meters thick.

Protected area: 30 meters outside the east embankment, 30 meters outside the west embankment, and 300 meters in the surrounding waters to the north and south.

In 2009, Liugong Weir was announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Shuangyang Subdistrict: Shuangyang Subdistrict is located in the southern part of Luojiang District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It had a population of 19,177 people (as of the end of 2003). It administers 11 communities. The subdistrict office is located in Lüpu.
