Location: Hexi Village and Xiacao Village, Heshi Town, Luojiang District, Quanzhou City

Introduction: Also known as Heshi Bridge, it was first built during the Shaoxing era (1131–1162) of the Song Dynasty, but was later destroyed in a fire. In the third year of the Longqing era (1569) of the Ming Dynasty, Commander Yu Dayou reconstructed it, and in the 27th year of the Wanli era (1599), County Magistrate Gu Shiqi raised funds to construct the stone beams. It was rebuilt again during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty by Shi Tao. The bridge is a beam-type stone structure with eight spans and seven piers, measuring 75.5 meters in length and 3.1 meters in width, with a boat-shaped foundation. Three stone steles from the Ming and Qing dynasties are preserved nearby, including one erected by Yu Dayou commemorating the reconstruction of Haoxi Bridge.

Protected area: 25 meters on both the east and west sides, 20 meters outside the southern bridgehead, and extending to the northern wall of Guanyin Palace in the north.

In 2009, Haoxi Bridge was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Heshi Town: A district base for vegetables, flowers, longan, and poultry eggs. Established as the Heshi Commune in 1971, it was reorganized as a township in 1984 and upgraded to a town in 1992. Located in the northern part of the district, it is 20 kilometers from the urban area. Covering an area of 105 square kilometers with a population of 33,000, it includes settlements of ethnic minorities such as the She and Hui peoples. Provincial highways such as Quanzhou–Xianyou, Heshi–Honglai, and Heshi–Luoyang pass through the town.
