Location: Xian'gong Mountain, Majia Town, Luojiang District, Quanzhou City

Introduction: There are eighteen extant cliff inscriptions dating from the Song Dynasty, including works by Wang Shipeng, Zhu Xi, Chen Yuhui, Zhang Ruitu, and Chen Dajie. Among them, Zhang Ruitu’s “Chanji Tomb Stele” is the most precious. These inscriptions are important physical materials for studying the calligraphy arts of the Southern Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The incense of Xian'gong Mountain has spread to various parts of Taiwan, making it an important medium for cultural exchange in Xian'gong faith between Fujian and Taiwan.

In 2009, the Cliff Inscriptions at Xian'gong Mountain were announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Majia Town: Established as Majia Commune in 1971, restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1992. Located in the northern part of the district, it is 34 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 114.5 square kilometers with a population of 51,000, including the ethnic She minority. The Quanzhou–Xianyou Highway passes through the town. It administers 23 village committees: Lutian, Wufeng, Qishan, Erjia, Xitou, Yishan, Houban, Xilin, Xibei, Jiunan, Cainei, Pannai, Pengshu, Yangkeng, Meiling, Yong'an, Xingchuan, Majia, Xian’an, Xinsheng, Xinjian, Xinmin, and Qian’an.
