LingShui Lake is a cultural tourism attraction.

LingShui Lake boasts picturesque scenery, offering views of the mainland's Penang Island, Gulangyu Island, and Baishi Fort. With pine-lined embankments, gently swaying willows, and reeds on the shallow shores, the area exudes a tranquil, natural ambiance, leading locals to also call it the "Little West Lake."

The lakeside nurtures rich aquatic vegetation and is a popular habitat for birds, making it a well-known bird-watching spot. Numerous waterfowl frequent the area, including kingfishers, pied kingfishers, ducks and geese, Eurasian coots, little egrets, black-capped kingfishers, black kites, and black-winged kites—all common visitors here. It is one of the top bird-watching sites in Kinmen. Even in summer, when bird activity is at its lowest, you can still spot around 30 species of waterbirds. During the peak winter season and migratory periods, the number of avian species can exceed 60.

Nearby fields host seasonal winter migrants such as yellow-rumped flycatchers and black-throated flycatchers. Additionally, the period from November to March each year is the best time for bird-watching in Kinmen. Common greenshanks, redshanks, and Chinese pond herons often become focal points for bird enthusiasts.
