The Yongchun Yunhe Valley Scenic Area is located in Waishan Township, Yongchun County, Fujian Province, 23 kilometers from downtown Yongchun. The main scenic area covers an area of 350 hectares and extends 3.5 kilometers in depth. The area features verdant mountains, deep canyons, uniquely shaped rocks, cascading waterfalls, lush virgin vegetation, and a pristine natural ecological environment. It combines elements of wonder, danger, grandeur, beauty, wildness, and serenity, boasting uniquely distinctive natural landscapes, and is known as the "Jiuzhai of Southern Fujian."

The scenic area is naturally mystical, with breathtaking scenery that resembles a stunning landscape painting. The valley-side boardwalk winds along the stream, clinging to soaring cliffs, overlooking deep chasms, inviting pines into the view, forging bonds with stones as companions, and taking the water as its soul. Where the canyon drops sharply, waterfalls pour down like silk ribbons—such as the Twin Dragons Waterfall, Yunhe Waterfall, Mandarin Duck Waterfall, and Dragon Claw Waterfall—some graceful and subtle, with murmuring streams leaving no trace of spring or autumn, others rushing turbulently, crashing against rocks in fury and echoing loudly in all directions. Numerous large and small emerald pools dot the landscape, such as Green Source Pool, Black Dragon Pool, Jade Pool, Azure Wave Pool, and Moonbathing Pool—some shimmering with clear waters where fish can be seen, others unfathomably deep with swirling undercurrents. The valley is covered in lush green hues, embracing heaven and earth, with ancient trees forming canopies that block out the sun and vines hanging like giant pythons in the air. The oddly shaped rocks take on countless forms—resembling playful river pigs, divine crocodiles crossing the stream, giant turtles sipping from springs, hidden dragons showing their spines, golden toads gazing at the moon—all incredibly lifelike... When a gentle breeze passes, the greenery frames red pavilions, and the fragrance of orchids lingers over the bridges, offering a truly refreshing and uplifting experience.

"Waishan beyond Waishan, Yunhe above Yunhe." The mountains of Yunhe Valley are all elegant and refined, the waters all pure and clear, and the rocks all uniquely peculiar. The scenery changes with the seasons—spring brings blooming mountain flowers, summer clothes the woods in dense green, autumn paints the slopes in red foliage, and winter decks the land in plum blossoms like snow. With over 50,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter in the air, it is an ideal destination for connecting with nature, returning to one's roots, cultivating sentiment, and enjoying leisure and fitness.
