Yongchun Jinjiang Source Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Yongchun Jinjiang Source Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Chengxiang Township at the source of the Dongxi River in the Jinjiang River system. Guided by the concept of “safe water conservancy, ecological water conservancy, scenic water conservancy, and people’s livelihood water conservancy,” the area aims to protect the source of the Dongxi River in the Jinjiang River system and develop ecotourism in a rational way. It makes full use of the water resources at the source of the Dongxi River as well as the surrounding natural and cultural environments to develop scenic tourism projects. Leveraging the existing advantageous natural resources of the Dongxi Grand Canyon, the area takes “water” as the theme and highlight throughout the entire scenic zone. It also explores the region’s rich historical, cultural, and folk traditions to create a nationally recognized and competitive water conservancy scenic area that integrates multiple functions including water conservancy, ecology, leisure and vacation, sightseeing, and environmental education.
