Wuping Zhongshanhe National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Wuping Zhongshanhe National Wetland Park was officially approved for pilot construction in December 2015. The proposed Zhongshanhe National Wetland Park spans six townships, centered around the Zhongshan River, Pingchuan River, and three reservoirs—Dongliu Reservoir, Guakeng Reservoir, and Xiaba Reservoir—collectively referred to as the "two rivers and three reservoirs." The planned total area is 1,529.3 hectares, of which the wetland area is 707.7 hectares, accounting for a wetland ratio of 46.3%. The wetland ecosystem of Zhongshanhe Wetland Park is relatively intact. Once completed, it will not only boost rural tourism development but also serve as a model for the protection and management of cross-provincial river wetland ecosystems.
