Lingyan South Building on Lingyan Road is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Lingyan South Building on Lingyan Road is located in Lingyan Village, Yanqian Town, Wuping County. Built in 1941, it faces southwest and is situated on a northeast axis. This two-story square building features a traditional enclosed courtyard design, constructed with a timber-frame and earthen walls, covering an area of 560 square meters. The front and rear sections each have five rooms, while the side wings consist of three rooms and two staircases each, all interconnected by surrounding corridors. The load-bearing walls are made of rammed earth, supporting the roof beams. Both the front and rear buildings feature hipped-gable roofs.

Lingyan Village: Located at the site of the Yanqian Town government, Lingyan Village serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of Yanqian. It borders Xiangdong, Shifang, and Zhongchi counties to the east and northwest, and neighbors Jiaoling County of Guangdong Province to the south. The village enjoys convenient transportation, with National Highway 205 and the Yong’an Expressway passing through it. It is home to several key provincial, municipal, and county-level projects and serves as an important construction and production base. The village comprises nine natural villages, 37 villager groups, and has a population of 1,373 households totaling 5,099 people, including 165 Party members.
