The Site of the RAOHEPU Guerrilla Detachment Communication Post – Beixia Bowl Kiln is located in Sandouzhong Natural Village, Beixia Village, Xihe Township, Yunxiao County.

In 1933, the RAOHEPU County Committee successively dispatched underground operatives A’sheng, Lin Dashu, and Lin Kuntao to mobilize the masses and propagate revolutionary ideals in Xiashi, Beixia, and Longtou areas of Yunxiao County. The RAOHEPU Guerrilla Detachment, including the Yu Dingren Unit, and the Red Third Regiment frequently operated in this area, cracking down on local despots and suppressing landlord militias, which helped promote the vigorous development of the peasant movement in Xiashi region. To facilitate communication with the Red Army guerrilla forces and thereby better carry out revolutionary work and effectively break the economic blockade imposed by the Kuomintang reactionaries, the RAOHEPU County Committee decided to raise funds to establish the “Fuchengchang Company” in Beixia Village as a secret party liaison point and transportation hub. The company was managed under the guise of a married couple by Liu Xisan, the County Committee Secretary, and Zhang Huayun, a member of the County Committee. It mainly produced bowls, cups, and similar pottery items. The RAOHEPU County Committee used this kiln site to produce porcelain for its own use, sold ceramics to raise revolutionary funds, subscribed to enemy newspapers, procured supplies needed by the County Committee, collected intelligence on enemy agents, and promptly relayed such information to the County Committee headquarters. It also liaised with the Zhangzhou County Committee to exchange intelligence, playing a significant role in advancing the revolution in southern Fujian. In 1947, due to betrayal, the Fuchengchang Company was discovered by the Kuomintang, the bowl kiln was destroyed, and production ceased. After the liberation of Yunxiao in 1949, the kiln resumed production but was eventually shut down in 1985.

The former site of the RAOHEPU Guerrilla Detachment Communication Post – Beixia Bowl Kiln covers an area of 3.5 mu. Modern production activities have damaged the original site, most of which has been converted into a pig farm, with only a small remaining area where some ceramic shards and kiln tools have been collected.
