360-degree Jurassic Flight Experience: The World's Longest Roller Coaster Debuts at Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2016, and to mark this milestone, the park will unveil the world’s longest and highest-drop flying roller coaster, “Flying Dinosaur,” next spring. This thrilling new attraction promises an unprecedented experience for visitors from around the globe.

According to Universal Studios Japan, the new flying roller coaster “Flying Dinosaur” is located in the Jurassic Park area. The track spans 1,124 meters, with an initial drop of approximately 37.8 meters. Unlike traditional sit-down roller coasters, riders are positioned face down and body forward, mimicking the posture of a bird soaring through the sky. With 360-degree spins along the way, the ride is expected to deliver a truly unique and exhilarating experience.
