New VR roller coaster at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort this year, plus a LEGO Christmas tree in December

Located in Johor Bahru, Johor, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is the first LEGOLAND theme park in Asia. Starting from November this year, it has launched a brand-new series of adventures — an upcoming virtual reality (VR) roller coaster that will engage all your senses and offer thrilling experiences for visitors of all ages.

“The Great LEGO Race” is a VR roller coaster that transforms the existing “Project X” ride at LEGOLAND into an attraction that combines cutting-edge VR technology. It’s not only heart-pounding but also brings out the child in everyone. The riders consist of various LEGO minifigure characters, and once guests put on the VR gear, they’ll race against these characters in a virtual world as if they’re truly inside a LEGO brick universe.

To celebrate December and Christmas, the resort has prepared the “BRICK-TACULAR Christmas Celebration” program, featuring events such as the lighting ceremony of Asia’s tallest 30-foot LEGO Christmas tree and gift giveaways from Santa’s sleigh, ensuring a warm and joyful holiday experience for all visitors.
