On February 17, returning university students in Yunxiao carried out the "Beautiful Yunxiao · Eco-Friendly Cycling" public welfare activity, creating a beautiful scene.
On that day, 100 returning university students rode bicycles, wearing and holding red sashes and flags promoting "low-carbon, environmental protection, green, and civilized" values. They set off from People’s Park, the most crowded spot in town, traveled through the main roads of the county seat, and ended at the Zhangjiang Estuary Mangrove National Nature Reserve. The total distance was 13 kilometers, taking one and a half hours.
"Nowadays, the whole nation is advocating 'opposing extravagance and waste, practicing diligence and thrift.' The returning university students are using their simplest way, the most economical behavior, to promote green environmentalism and advocate diligence and thrift, thus guiding the public to pay more attention to environmental protection and to build a beautiful new Yunxiao with positive energy," said Chen Jiashan, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of Yunxiao County.
