Zhangzhou Maluan Bay is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Zhangzhou Maluan Bay is situated in the southeastern part of Dongshan Island and is the earliest developed scenic area on the island. The bay stretches over 2,000 meters in length and extends 150 meters inland, with a water depth of 2–3 meters. The bay enjoys calm waves, a flat seabed, and wide, clean waters free from pollution or hidden reefs. The beach is approximately 60 meters wide, with snow-white, fine, soft, and pristine sand. It lies against a verdant and dense forest belt. Sun, sand, sea, and greenery. Maluan Bay is an ideal bay bathing spot.
