Fujian Province's Dongshan National Seaside Forest Park was established in July 1992 by the then Ministry of Forestry. It consists of Chishan Forest Farm, Xishan Rock, and Damashan, covering an area of 80,000

mu, with a forest coverage rate of 96%. The seaside forest park borders the ocean and is concentrated around Wujiao Bay. To the southwest lies a seascape dotted with four islets known as Dragon, Tiger, Lion, and Elephant. The forest area contains nearly 10,000 mu of protective forests, including casuarina, slash pine, and Masson’s pine, as well as fruit trees such as lychee, longan, mango, and citrus. Here, the blue sky, emerald sea, white sands, and green woods form a stunning seascape painting, making it the renowned "Green Oasis of the East China Sea."

From the forest observation tower at Chishan Forest Farm, the view is dominated by lush greenery. Dense shelterbelts interweave like a net, while protective forests stand like a green Great Wall, standing firmly against sea winds and sands to shield the farmlands. Shifting your gaze to the fertile plains, you’ll see emerald green asparagus fields and tree-lined roads. Nestled among the green hills and clear waters are red-roofed, white-walled houses and villages, neatly arranged in rows, adding extra charm to the national forest park.
