Dao Sheng Garden

Dao Sheng Garden is located within the compound of the Traffic Bureau in Guoyang County, covering an area of 2,000 square meters. The bureau built this garden in honor of Laozi. The garden features eight scenic elements: pavilions, corridors, halls, terraces, hills, water features, bridges, and overhead structures. As you step into De Yi Hall, the ceiling depicts the “Nine Dragons Welcoming the Sage,” with swirling purple air, flocks of cranes soaring, and nine dragons spouting water to bathe Laozi. On both sides are long corridors adorned with historical stories of Laozi and Zhuangzi. The garden also includes Ju Xian Terrace, Xiu Pavilion, Thousand Stone Hill, flying waterfalls, Jian Hai (Mirror Sea), Yuan Bridge, Qin Path, and Guan Fu Pavilion. From the top of Guan Fu Pavilion, the entire garden unfolds before your eyes — whitewashed walls with golden tiles, winding corridors dividing courtyards, lush trees casting shade, bamboo shadows and floral scents, creating a heavenly landscape that captivates and makes visitors linger without wanting to leave.
