Wuhu Olympic Park is a modern sports park meticulously developed by Wuhu City to welcome the 10th Anhui Provincial Games. It embodies sports culture, promotes mass fitness, and is grounded in natural ecology. The Olympic Park is located in the southern part of the city, bordered by Wushi Road to the east, Jiunan South Road to the west, Yingkeshong Avenue to the south, and Limin Road to the north. Covering an area of 30.8 hectares (462 mu), the total investment is approximately 670 million yuan. The planned facilities of the Olympic Park include two fields, three stadiums, and corresponding comprehensive supporting facilities. These consist of a main stadium with 40,000 seats and an athletic training field, a comprehensive gymnasium with 5,500 seats, a swimming pool with 2,000 seats, and a shooting range that meets competition standards.

Outdoors, there are facilities for soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis courts, a swimming pool, as well as supporting athlete apartments, hotels, cultural and entertainment facilities, equipment management offices, squares, roads, sculptures, and other landscape elements.

The main stadium of Wuhu Olympic Park has an overall asymmetrical elliptical layout. Its structural design integrates high technology and cutting-edge engineering, with technical complexity comparable to the Sydney Olympic Stadium in Australia. The construction employed a unique asymmetrical cable-membrane canopy design, the first of its kind in China. The large-span cantilever beam supporting the upper cable-membrane structure is the first of its type in China. The wavy grand canopy is 250 meters long with a cantilever span of 12 meters, ranking first in domestic architectural achievements. Inside the stadium, a 90-square-meter large full-color multimedia scoreboard, along with lighting systems, sound systems, closed-circuit television, and fire alarm systems, all meet international advanced standards.
