Introduction: Located by the Sanxi River, south of Jiuhua Mountain National Forest Park, in Sanxi Village, Nanyang Township, Qingyang County. It is 1 kilometer from Yulong Cave. Formerly known as Yuhua Cave, it is said that Taoist immortals such as Dou Zhenren, Zhang Guolao, and Chenchi Laozu once visited here—hence the name. The cave is 1,500 meters long and divided into three levels: upper, middle, and lower. It features overpass-style passages, with caves within caves all interconnected. The upper cave is divided into six halls: Yushu Pavilion, Nine Dragons Hall, Qiankun Hall, Yuhua Gallery, Jade Flower Garden, and Bell and Drum Tower, covering an area of 1,370 square meters. Major attractions include "Jade Trees and Exquisite Flowers," "Assembly of Immortals," "Chang’e Flying to the Moon," "Nine Dragons Coiling around a Pearl," "Phoenix Returning to Its Nest," and "Jade Membrane and Qilin." The middle cave covers an area of 560 square meters, and the lower level covers 480 square meters, featuring several large-scale attractions such as jade pillars, jade columns, jade waterfalls, and jade spheres. Entering Shenshendong Cave gives visitors the feeling of arriving in a celestial realm, as if ascending to immortality. Shenshendong Cave Forest Park is about 50 kilometers from Zhengzhou. To the north, it connects to Zhengshang Highway via the Huancuiyu Scenic Area, and to the south, it links to Zhengshao Expressway. Together with Huancuiyu and Xuenuodong Scenic Areas, it forms an extensive road transportation network. Buses run daily between the scenic area and Xinmi urban area, making transportation very convenient.
