The Six Springs Well features six spring outlets, with gurgling water so clear you can see the bottom.

Legend has it that during the Ming Dynasty, Generals Chang Yuchun and Xu Da led troops in fierce battles against Chen Youliang at Jiuhua Mountain and dug this well to provide drinking water for soldiers.

Today, this well is the site of the Jiuhua Mountain Natural Mineral Water Co., Ltd., a Sino-foreign joint venture. The company produces “Buddha Land Sacred Water” mineral water using the spring water from this well.
