Li'an, located east of Huacheng Temple in Jiuhua Street, was originally named "Dinghui Nunnery" and was one of the east-wing lodging quarters of Huacheng Temple during the Qing Dynasty’s Kangxi reign. It was destroyed during the military conflicts of the Xianfeng era, rebuilt by abbot Kaizong in the Tongzhi era, and expanded by abbot Ruixiang in 1931. The Buddha statues inside were destroyed during the “0” period. In 1988, the Jiuhua Mountain Buddhist Association renovated it, with a construction area of 1,001 square meters. It now serves as the headquarters of the Jiuhua Mountain Buddhist Association.
