Jiulong Temple on Jiuhua Mountain is a cultural tourism attraction.

A key Buddhist temple in Anhui Province, located at the former Santianguan site to the north of Jiuhua Street, adjacent to Huatian Temple. During the Qing Dynasty's Kangxi era, it served as one of the east-side lodging quarters of Huacheng Temple. It currently features a main hall, a mountain gate hall, and several meditation rooms, arranged in a traditional residential-style courtyard complex. Since 1992, the abbess Master Hui Lian has overseen the renovation of the temple buildings, commissioned new Buddha statues, and seen the temple’s incense offerings flourish. She is known for her dedicated spiritual practice, virtuous deeds, and compassion for life. Starting in 1995, she found 11 abandoned infants in front of the temple — 1 boy and 10 girls. She cared for them with devotion, worked tirelessly day and night, and tried to locate their birth parents. To date, 1 child has been reclaimed by their parents, 7 have been adopted, and 3 still remain at the temple. Most of these children have found loving homes and are intelligent and bright; they often visit the temple to see Master Hui Lian, whom they call “Mother Abbess.”
